Write Away

The first thing I like for people to know about me is that I am a playwright. Theatre and writing have always been part of my life and playwriting marries my two loves in an amazing way.  While my playwriting career is still young, I am a published playwright who has been produced - nationally and internationally - in professional, educational, community, and Fringe venues. I also have an MFA in Creative Writing with a focus in Playwriting from Wilkes University.

Following productions in the United States and Canada, Drowning Ophelia was first performed overseas in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2024. Since then, NDNA Productions has continued to perform Drowning Ophelia throughout Bulgaria and Serbia for over a year. You can purchase a copy of Drowning Ophelia through Blue Moon Plays.
More About Drowning Ophelia
I've written nearly fifty short plays and monologues, more than half of which have received readings and productions through universities and theatres including The Bechdel Group, The Femme Fatale Play Festival, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Bucknell University, Gaslight Theatre Company, Creative Works Lancaster, and Orpheus Theatre Company. In May 2025, my monologue Tooth Fairy from Hell will be performed in Stavanger, Norway.

The Play's the Thing

Writing. Acting. Directing. Play-making. These are the aspects of theatre that nourish my soul. As a co-founder of Ghostlight Productions, I engaged as an actor and director from 2009 to 2018. Now I'm combining my skills as a playwright, actor, and director to build exciting theatrical works with other theatre artists in my current location, across the country, and around the world.

Ghostlight Productions started producing Shakespeare in the Park at South Abington Park in 2009 with Twelfth Night.  Over the course of ten years, I performed in eight productions, including roles such as Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Mistress Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor, and Prospero in The Tempest. I recently returned to the stage to play Escala in Lancaster Shakespeare Theatre's 2025 production of Measure for Measure.

My directing journey began with Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap in 2010. Through my years with Ghostlight Productions, I also had the honor of directing Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar, Scenes from Metamorphoses, and Almost, Maine. Moving to Lancaster, PA, in 2019, I've since had the privilege of directing three shows for Lancaster Shakespeare Theatre: The Merry Wives of Windsor, Love's Labour's Lost, and currently, The Tempest. Formerly the Director of Theatre at a small college in northeast Pennsylvania, I continue to direct shows at local colleges and universities, such as Puffs at Millersville University and the upcoming fall production of Murder on the Orient Express at Franklin & Marshall College.
